Byakugoji Temple, a Tendai sect temple located in Tamba City, Hyogo Prefecture, is renowned for its breathtaking "Kyushaku Wisteria." From mid-April to mid-May each year, the temple is bustling with visitors eager to see the wisteria in full bloom. During this period, the "Kyushaku Wisteria Festival" is held, and the wisteria is beautifully illuminated at night.

Access to the temple is primarily by car, and parking often fills up quickly during this time. However, nearby open spaces are also available for parking. Even on weekdays, there may be some waiting time, but there is generally ample capacity. Please note that during the festival period and on weekends and public holidays, there are many tour buses. If you don't leave early, you might experience significant traffic and have difficulty reaching the temple. Therefore, be sure to plan accordingly.
